One Million Rising is a national effort to train one million people to resist authoritarianism-together. Through a series of trainings and gatherings, we’ll build the strategy, skills, and people power it takes to stop Donald Trump and his enablers from seizing more power. This is how we get organized. This is how we win back our democracy.
One Million Rising is a powerful tool for action that Indivisible Mid-Peninsula is passionate about. Our chapter’s goal is to host 50 gatherings, helping 500 people become comfortable with strategic non-cooperation to fight authoritarianism.
Each of us plays a critical role, from small everyday acts of resistance to groundswell demonstrations of dissent like No Kings Day. The pillars that authoritarianism relies on are strengthened by our silence and complicity, and can crumble with our noncooperation.
