Veterans are scared that the Trump administration might cut social security benefits despite the president on Wednesday saying that he would not.

As part of a national ‘Hands Off Our Government’ rally April 5, community members and political groups will be mobilizing across the Peninsula to express their anger and frustration with the Trump administration.
The mid-Peninsula chapter of Indivisible — an organizing group geared toward resisting the Republican agenda — is organizing a march in San Francisco’s Civic Center Plaza from 1-3 p.m. and is expecting over 1,000 attendees, spokesperson Sarah Sherwood said.
